How to beat writer’s block and write like a pro

First of all, you have to realize that writer’s block is a state of mind. And I’ll show you why here in a second or two, when I go over this 15 minute time limit.

But first things first …

Get started writing your blog post with some quick and easy tips to accomplish your specific task – writing this article. And number them so you can identify the markers, for your bullets. I use a number hyphen system like the following.

1 – Focus on the keyword phrase of the article you are writing

My keyword phrase for this article is Write Like a Pro. or write for profit. I often have two, one in the headline and one in my thought process, and both are coming off the keyboard at the beginning of the article. Then I’ll mention them a couple more times in the article. That phrase, or those phrases as the case may be, help me stay on track, write like a pro, and make it easier for me to write for profit, because I know exactly what my purpose is. Stay focused on those keyword phrases. Yours will probably be different, but it will still be relevant.

2 – Use bullet points to reference 3 – 5 specific details about your topic

Your bullets should include your keyword phrase and a few other relevant points to help you stay on target. When you write for profit it’s often referred to as freelancing, and you write like a pro to keep money coming in, whether you’re writing for pay or for marketing options. Articles on your site, published for article marketers, or as guest posts on someone else’s blog are marketing options and have to pay. If you are not gaining traffic and buyers from your published articles, it is a waste of time and effort on your part. Paying for what you write is an important aspect of writing for profit, because if you don’t get paid, you’ll be flipping burgers to feed your family pretty quickly. There’s nothing wrong with flipping burgers, but you’re a writer!

3 – Get your hook into the topic you write

If you had a writer’s block at the beginning of this post, you noticed that we focused on it right away. Then I got you hooked on the solution by discarding the concept of writer’s block for later in the article. I could have skipped it entirely, and you probably never would have missed it, however EzineArticles.com would have slapped my fingers for promising something I didn’t give you. So … I’m going to give it to you right now.

Writer’s Block is a state of mind. If you change your mind and focus on something of relevance and purpose, you no longer have it. Writer’s block is gone.

Notice, I scattered it twice, starting over with First Things First, and then 1 – to move it straight to the topic. You don’t have to include the first three in your final article. But if you’re having a hard time typing, use them to get your fingers off the keys and move you to a 15-minute piece of content that’s worth more than $ 15 an hour.

Now why would you want to flip burgers?
