Stay-at-home mom turned real estate entrepreneur: an inspiring success story

Real estate investment has given me many things. These things are a good career, personal fulfillment, and most importantly, huge streams of income that might otherwise be hard to come by with a nine to five job. With a real estate investment, I am able to do things I never thought possible and I was no longer dependent on my husband’s money. I became financially independent and secure with this fabulous money making company.

It all started when I got bored as a housewife. I needed to do something that would keep me busy and at the same time provide me with the extra money I needed. I met a friend who introduced me to real estate investing and have been hooked ever since.

I found a property that offered a good rental option. The offer was a 3-year lease option for $33,000 with no rent increase. This deal came with a penalty-free “exit” option and a renewal option after the 3-year lease. I can renew the property for another 3 years at a low cost of $100. I got really excited and saw this deal as a great money making opportunity for me.

So I grabbed the deal and looked for a tenant so I could sublease the property and make a profit. This property was located in a privileged area and was valued at $45,000. I figured if I was paying $300 a month for the place, I could find a good tenant who would rent it to me for more.

Fortunately, I found myself a great tenant with a stable job and career. This tenant agreed to sublease the property and pay me $720 each month. He was ecstatic! I found a great company to earn money without spending anything. I made a monthly profit of $420 as the property taxes were supported by the owner.

This is just one example of how real money can be made in real estate without equity or credit. Some people say maybe I was lucky. Many even said that offers like the one I had are hard to find. While this may be true in some respects, my fortunate experience still doesn’t negate the idea that there is, in fact, money in real estate investing. All it takes is making a bold move and entering the real estate investment field with an open mind.

I will never forget my first contract as it opened up so many opportunities for me. As I became more and more knowledgeable about real estate investing, I was able to venture into many other things. I am now the author of two real estate books and hundreds of articles. I currently also run a website that offers real estate investor training to those who also want to climb the wealth pyramid and achieve financial success like me. Sure, making a real estate investment can be scary, especially if you know nothing about it. However, with determination and the drive to succeed, anything is possible, even for the first time real estate investor. Success only comes to those people who seek success and see it even from a small window of opportunity.
