Aston Martin DB9 Convertible: a driving pleasure

The Aston Martin DB9 is a very attractive and visually appealing grand tourer convertible. Both the Coupe and Vol ante models are known for the high performance and luxury for which their manufacturer is known. From the previous model, both variants underwent a styling update for a fresh look and a slightly revised interior and more powerful engine.

Although it had received a few updates, the exterior appearance, including the classic proportions and elegant stance, remained unchanged. However, several new details have been added to the latest convertible model, which were missing from the predecessor. For example, the headlights are more angular and steeper than before, while the front fascia has received a single-intake aerodynamic design.

Speaking of style, the DB9 Convertible is one of the most beautiful cars a person can own. Despite some modifications and updates, the model still retains the classic Aston look very easily. Although it has a classic exterior, it has some modifications and improvements in materials and texture to offer a more beautiful, exquisitely designed and well finished cabin.

The Vol ante model is not as stiff as the Coupé, but both variants are a driver’s delight. It delivers massive thrills with the added sensation of speed and wind, as well as the noise that a convertible allows. Plus, the sound of the 510bhp V12 bouncing off the walls makes for a more sensational ride. Whether it’s Vol-ante or Coupé, some features are the same: 0-100 km / h time in 4.6 seconds and three-mode suspension. It turns sharply and offers great grip for more control while riding. The carbon ceramic brakes that are fitted as standard are excellent and have impressive stopping power. Even if there is a slight jolt to the body, the vehicle is remarkably stable and offers a smooth ride.

The first models that were sold in 2004 have been refined and refined with reliability improving all the time. The 6.0 liter V12 engine is well tested and used across the Aston range without leaving room for errors. The driver would not feel any issues with the engine, transmission, or driveline, so reliability is guaranteed. In terms of quality, the interior is well made to stand the test of time. Both the Coupé and the Vol ante of the DB9 Convertible have a standard safety kit such as airbags, traction and stability control, as well as a new front end to comply with pedestrian safety legislation. In all this, it maintains the traditional Aston front grill.
