Branson: A Land of Amazing Attractions

The city of Branson is known for offering some of the most popular and sought after tourist destinations. Some of the most visited and must-see attractions in the city include Silver Dollar City, Ride the Ducks, Branson Balloon, and some of the city’s top landmarks.

Silver Dollar City is one of the best and most popular tourist attractions among visitors who are looking to have a good time with their family. This magnificent theme park has always been the center of attraction among tourists for fifty years. It is situated right in the middle of the natural scenic beauty of the Ozarks and features over forty live shows, restaurants, and shops. Silver Dollar City is home to six magnificent and wonderful world class awesome festivals as well. This world renowned park opened to the general public on May 1, 1960 and is operated by the Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation.

This place is also known as the home of American crafts. Here you’ll find artisans illustrating the art of creating a basket with other handmade items such as pottery, blacksmithing, and glassblowing. It also offers some of the most exciting and adventurous rides in the form of the American Plunge, Electro Spin, Elephant March, The Grand Exposition Coaster and many more.

Branson Balloon is recognized as the largest tethered balloon in the nation. The balloon is capable of lifting thirty people to a height of about five hundred feet. This is the best way to get a full 360 degree view of the Ozark Mountains, Table Rock Lake, and the entire city. The walk lasts about fifteen minutes and these walks take place throughout the year. The main decisive factor for the success of the flight is windy weather.

Branson also offers some of the most prominent and significant landmarks in the form of Marvel Cave, Inspiration Tower, Talking Rocks Cavern, Showboat Branson Belle and many more to add to the list.

Marvel Cave – Exciting Silver Dollar City is spawned by this magnificent cave that was originally named Marble Cave by its explorers. They named it the Marble Cave because they assumed the incredible wall covering was made of marble. But the name of the cave changed wonderfully when they found out that it is not marble. This winery is under the control of Silver Dollar City. The cave authority also offers a sixty-minute guided tour and a trail about three hundred meters deep into the earth.

Another impressive landmark of the city is called Inspiration Tower. This tower is considered as the Landmark on the horizon. The height of the tower is around two hundred and thirty feet situated at Inspiration Point at The Shepherd of the Hills farm. This is the best place to enjoy the phenomenal views of the city during any time of the year. There are two glass elevators that take tower visitors to the enclosed observation deck. One would also find great amenities on the ground level in the form of a specialty gift shop, restrooms, and cafeteria.
