Does the Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker not grind?

Cuisinart offers highly innovative grind and brew coffeemakers. Their coffee makers are considered the best by many consumers, which is why they sell them as if they were lemonades. But then these machines can also be prone to machine failure.

A common problem is a grinder that doesn’t work. The grinder usually runs smoothly and then suddenly stops working. To do?

If you haven’t been cleaning your grinder properly, this may be the cause of the problem. Washing it just won’t cut it. Some of the essential oils and coffee grounds may be left behind and will harden after a while. Not only that, they tend to go rancid, so it spoils the true flavor of the ground coffee.

What you can do is try to find out if there really is something stuck. You can usually find the problem in the gap between the grinder basket and the filter basket. If there are coffee grounds, clean them.

Mix clean water with vinegar and dip a clean towel in it. Use it to clean that area. It will help dissolve coffee grounds and essential oils that have stuck to the groove. If this is already clean, move on to the grinder motor.

Cuisinart typically provides a cleaning brush. Use it to clean out the motor and remove any visible coffee grounds that may have gotten stuck in there. Once you have cleaned this area, it should work fine again. Try grinding and it should work like a charm.

Some people have trouble cleaning their coffee grinder because they cannot remove the basket from the grinder. It seems to be stuck in the machine. There are quite a few people who have experienced this problem. Using force to remove the basket can break everything and you could end up with an even worse problem.

What you can do is remove the filter basket first. It is usually located near the basket crusher. This way, you can have better access to the grinder. The slot area that I was talking about earlier can be released with a screwdriver. Lift it up slowly in a jerking motion so that it can be easily detached. Support the bottom of the grinder so it doesn’t crack. Try doing this and it should come off easily.

Now that you have solved your problem with the Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee Maker, you should be able to enjoy a good coffee experience.
