How are people making money online?
Good question. Doing a Google search to find ways to make money online produces only one result… A headache. There is too much information out there to understand it.
To ease the pressure, I have outlined 3 basic methods that people are using to make a decent living and run a successful internet business.
1. Promote other people’s products as an affiliate. This is probably the most common and fastest way to start making money online. Affiliates typically don’t even have to own the product they’re selling. You can sign up for many affiliate programs for free and start promoting them in no time.
The best methods of selling affiliate products are through a content-filled website or by offering them to your newsletter subscribers.
2. The second method of making money online is to sell products with resell rights. Many eBooks come with “Resell Rights” and some even come with “Master Resell Rights”.
A resell rights product allows you to sell the item within the resell rights guidelines, this will typically include selling it for the suggested price and not modifying the product in any way. A master resell rights item typically allows you to transfer the resell rights to your customers so they can also sell the product. Remember that each product rights agreement can differ greatly, so it’s always a good idea to email the creator before you start selling any items so they know exactly what rights they own and what they don’t.
3. Selling your own products is the number one method of making more money online. You have full control over the product because it is uniquely yours. You can offer regular or master resell rights so that you can get other people to sell your product and keep a commission on the sale price. Many internet marketers create a product that contains affiliate links related to the product for the purpose of giving it away so other people can give it away. This is a great tactic as many different people are passing your product and links around the internet.
You will notice that the above ways to earn on the internet involve hard work, anyone who tells you to just go up, sign up and be ready for the check to arrive the next day is basically lying to you. An online business is the same as an offline business in the sense that both take time and dedication to build the business up to a decent level. The benefit of an online business is of course that you can do it from your living room with a cup of tea close at hand 😉

More and more people are realizing that they can also work from home and the internet is making this a reality for every common person.
