Is network marketing the right business model for you?

Maybe, maybe not. It is not for everyone. If you are a lazy person, a person who doesn’t work as a team, a person who doesn’t understand the concept of leverage and how to use it, then no, network marketing is probably not the best business model for you. .

But if you understand leverage and understand teamwork and the value and importance of personal development, then network marketing could be the ideal business model for you. There are now many companies in the field of network marketing, more often known as Direct Selling. Currently, more than half of the available companies are in the areas of health and nutrition.

Don’t turn up your nose yet. There are many other companies that you can choose from. These include but are not limited to: travel, cooking, jewelry, and many more, but for you to be successful in your own business, you MUST find a company that offers a product or service that you are passionate about.

If you’re not passionate about the product, then when times get tough or when you’re not producing the way you hoped and you’re not as successful as some of the other reps in your particular business, you’re going to get frustrated and get to the point where that you will want to leave it and then you will leave it.

These people should not be in network marketing. So if you’re a quitter and don’t know how to take the good with the bad, I’ll tell you right now, don’t waste your time joining a network marketing or direct selling company. For one, there is a learning curve for people who are new to the business model and unfamiliar with how to make it work for them. Second, if you’re not humble enough or don’t want to learn how to relate to other people, this may not be the right path for you to work toward your financial goals.

If you’re not good at “networking” with other people or if you want to learn how to become a better networker and business professional, I would advise you to attend the trainings provided by your company. Your ideal company should provide you with the necessary training to prepare you for success in your business and success in life in general.

But yes, if you quit smoking, that’s not a good personality trait IF you want to be successful in business, direct sales, or in life. Michael Jordan didn’t quit, Wayne Gretzky didn’t quit, Emmit Smith didn’t quit, Walt Disney didn’t quit, and Thomas Edison didn’t quit. So why would you?
