Natadrol Review: The Natural Alternative to Steroids!

Natadrol is a new supplement from LG Sciences that is advertised as a phyto-based alternative to andro-based hormonal supplements. Natadrol is a blend of 4 powerful plant based anabolic agents that have some interesting science behind them and could be a very exciting alternative to things like Tribulus Terrestris and could even compete with andro based prohormones.

Many of the ingredients in Natadrol are new, but there are some ingredients that are also well established in the bodybuilding community as excellent performance enhancing agents. However, the combination of these ingredients in a single supplement is very unique. Here is a summary of the ingredients in Natadrol:

Androgenic fraction

Tinospora Cordifolia is the first ingredient in the bottle and is specifically stated to be the ethanolic extract of this herb. Studies using dehydrotestosterone as the standard have shown that the ethanolic extract of Tinospora is as androgenic as hydroxytestosterone. This makes it quite powerful for an herbal supplement. It was also shown that the ethanolic extract is not estrogenic at all, which means that only the ethanolic extract is appropriate for bodybuilders. Anyone who wants to use Tinospora for its muscle building effects should make sure they have the ethanolic extract in their supplement to avoid complications.

anabolic factor

Cissus Quadrangularis is the “anabolic factor” in Natadrol. This ingredient is well known as a weight loss agent, joint repair product, and is also believed to be an anti-cortisol supplement. Cissus is also supposed to be an anabolic agent in muscle cells and has many anecdotal reports of it being used that way. Cissus appears to be a very potent ingredient for reducing obesity and increasing healing based on published studies and countless anecdotal reports.

Natadrol was not the first supplement to use Cissus and reports of injury healing and mass gain are well established with other Cissus based products. The nutritional properties of the ingredient are part of a proper muscle gaining supplement program, so it makes sense why Cissus is in the product and should work well in conjunction with the other ingredients.

pSARM cofactors

pSARM or phyto-sarm is a term used for plant-based agents that show a tendency to build muscle through non-androgenic routes or that can increase testosterone. Natadrol contains hibiscus extract, which has been shown in rats to be anabolic to muscles without having any estrogenic or androgenic side effects. Hibiscus extract is best taken as a water-based extract along with other androgenic extracts. Curculigo Orchiodes is an herbal extract that can increase testosterone, increase sexual desire, and act as testosterone on its own. These two powerful phyto-sarms are a welcome addition to the androgenic and anabolic factors and should tip the balance towards extreme muscle building. Both Curculigo and Hibiscus have scientific literature showing that they have SARM-like qualities in androgen-sensitive tissue.

The combination of the four ingredients covers all the androgenic and anabolic bases and could certainly be compared to a sensible level of andro-based prohormones. The beauty of this blend is that it is all natural and appropriate for athletes and drug tested employees. This has become a big concern for people in the military or in a college athletic program and is a good alternative for people who cannot use andro-based supplements.

The manufacturer recommends light PCT or post cycle therapy with Natadrol. Post cycle therapy is when a person uses something after a cycle to increase natural testosterone production. This is something that is usually reserved for someone taking andro-based supplements, but since Tinospora has been shown to be androgenic, it makes sense that the manufacturer would suggest PCT with this supplement.

Natadrol has the ability to replace many andro-based supplements for athletes undergoing drug tests or normal men who are interested in staying all-natural. It has an interesting ingredient profile and preliminary science certainly suggests that the manufacturer’s claims are valid.

The most exciting ingredient is the Tinospora extract. Many herbal preparations claim to be androgenic, but many judge this simply by results in laboratory animals, which is not entirely accurate. Tinospora is different because it has been tested against an androgenic reference standard which makes it unique among herbal preparations.

Based on real-world feedback, it certainly appears that Natadrol will give you similar results to andro-based supplements and perhaps even illegal steroids, and combined with proper diet and exercise, will help you reach your fitness goals! Physical conditioning!
