pampered chef is a multi-level marketing company founded in 1980 by Doris Christopher and provides kitchen-related products for the ultimate chef or baker. They also offer a business or income opportunity for those interested in generating income by marketing their products or the company itself. During this review, I’ll go over some of the things or products they offer while providing a brief explanation of each, the affiliate business or income opportunity, the cost to get started, and then my final thoughts or opinions on the entire company.

As mentioned above, Pampered Chef offers products related to the kitchen. I will mention some of their specific products and give an explanation of each one. Keep in mind; Although I’ll only be reviewing a few of their products, they do have a wide variety of products to choose from with a comprehensive brochure! Some product categories included are Bakeware, Cleaning, Cookware, Cutlery, Outdoor Activities and various others.

1. bamboo knife set – To get this set is $460. Although somewhat expensive, it includes 9 knives in total, such as a 5-inch and 7-inch Santoku knife, Boning Knife, Chef’s Knife, Bread Knife, Paring Knife, a small paring knife, a serrated knife, and a utility knife. It is guaranteed to last a lifetime and each knife is finely crafted to cut perfect edges. Hand wash these knives only!
2. Rockcrok Grill Stone – For $80 you can get this outdoor grill stone that is ready to use right out of the box, is lightweight and easy to transport, safe for a freezer, and dishwasher safe. With this item, you’ll look like a badass grilling outside with your friends.
3. stainless steel cleaner – For just $10 you can get this stainless steel cleaner that is designed to make cookware look brand new by removing heat stains and discoloration.

The opportunity:

The question still remains; Can you really make money from the Pampered Chef business or income opportunity? To answer this question, I’ll take a look at their compensation plan! Some companies in this industry have different payouts you could achieve depending on what level or rank you are at, and Pampered Chef is certainly one of those companies. The ranks you can achieve (in order) in this company are Consultant, Senior Consultant, Team Leader, Director, Advanced Director, Senior Director, Executive Director, Senior Executive Director, and National Executive Director. I’ll go over some of the ways you could get paid and provide an explanation for each one below!

1. Consultant – As a Pampered Chef Consultant, you can earn a 20-25% bonus on all sales and an additional 2% after $15,000 in sales. However, to maintain this level, you must achieve a minimum of $150 in personal sales each month!
2. Senior consultant – You will be able to earn a 1% bonus on your personal sales once you reach this rank or level, as well as a 1% bonus on your teams’ personal sales. However, to remain active at this rank, you must achieve a minimum of $150 in personal sales each month, in addition to having 1 personal recruit that you have brought into the business.
3. Team captain – As a team leader, you get a 2% increase in personal sales, a 2% increase in sales from personal recruits, and an impressive 1% increase in sales from indirect recruits, which means members that their recruits recruited. However, to remain active at this rank, you will need 2 active business lines, a minimum of $750 in personal sales, and $2,500 in team sales.

Final thoughts:

The products that the company offers are great if you are interested in kitchen related products and like cooking, baking, grilling, etc. The business opportunity, however, is weak! The payouts are not very lucrative and the only way to make money is by making a steady stream of sales! Also, the requirements to remain active by rank are a bit difficult to meet if you are not a professional marketer or salesperson. However, if you are and can qualify, you will certainly be able to earn a decent income from your income or business opportunities.

However, their products do not have a Mass Market. I enjoy companies that offer products that everyone needs, and not everyone wants or needs kitchen items. Also, most people don’t care about quality products; they have no problem going to their local store to buy their pots and pans.

The cost to start the company is incredibly low. Especially when compared to the amount of money you will be able to make with this company, the cost to get started is next to nothing!
