The magic of pleasant friendship

We, as social animals, need the company of others to share our happiest, most sorrowful, difficult and easy moments. Consequently, it leads to celebration or moments of empathy in return. However we may think of ourselves as independent, we are directly or indirectly dependent on each other on this planet. Basically, it is a give and take relationship that drives us to be dependent on each other. Therefore, to achieve a balance in this relationship, we must be empathetic, altruistic and compatible.

There are two ways to challenge the above relationship: one by denouncing our physical possessions to become a hermit, or by being greedy to own all the physical things that get in our way. However, these two exceptions would lead to a hostile atmosphere resulting in chaotic situations. Thus, such a dependent and jovial environment is the need of the hour; because this flourishes in a harmony that is more valuable than gold or platinum.

The above friendly relationships including compatibility resulting in a pleasant atmosphere could be seen with a little history. The story revolves around a group of six friends who met in a two-year educational program in a city in India. They were from different parts of the country, having considerable exposure to the potpourri of cultures from across the country. Naturally, this portrays his eclectic knowledge on various subjects while remaining down to earth. A common thing that brings them together is weekend parties and spending time together after dinner. However, their cultures were different; however, they share the common thoughts of being together for their better understanding, non-regionalism and maturity in thought.

During the two years of stay, they have never ever been involved in a situation of confusion for small things, and whatever the problem. They respect each other while trying to be empathic, understanding and friendly with each other. Obviously, such behavior has developed a nice system between them that portrays their compatibility with each other. Also, the exciting thing between them that bonded them strongly is the exciting bike trips they have had during the two-year stay. These trips have been exciting and have been rated successful by his peers on his flock.

The point to emphasize and point out here is that despite being different based on caste, creed, gender, or region of a country, we need to be empathic and understanding with each other in order to maintain a pleasant relationship. Eventually this would lead to a compatible dependency culminating in a harmonious and jovial atmosphere.
