How far can your imagination go?
Imagination, in my own words, is going beyond the tangible. It is having a maneuver through the unnoticed. It is a temporary escape from reality. Vision has different forms and can be graduated. How far a person will travel on the journey of her imagination depends on him/her, the captain of her/his own soul. Imagination makes it possible for a person to feel every experience that the world cannot and can offer.
Through the imagination, you can see the world and all its complexity and everything that does not belong to reality in one place: the mind. It’s the cheapest way to get some excitement. All you need is a relaxing position: a place where you can download all your unconscious ideas and use them to imagine things.
Through our imagination, we can have a journey to any place in the speed of light without obstacles. It can make you feel detached, albeit temporarily, and only in your mind, from dire tasks, dilemmas, and circumstances. Daydreaming is a form of self defense. the fantasy is to protect yourself in the meantime from unwanted thoughts, but always keep in mind that prolonged use of any defense mechanism leads to neurosis and then progresses to psychosis. hold the imagination like a border but let it make you grow as best it can.
Imagination is not limited to just seeing images in the mind. Enclose the five senses. One can imagine a sound, taste, smell, a physical sensation, or a feeling or emotion. Some people find it easier to see mental images, others find it easier to imagine a feeling, and some are more comfortable imagining the sensation from one of the five senses.
A good example of how far the human imagination has come is the birth and rebirth of many books of fantasy fiction. Can you ever imagine that people can tell stories they haven’t really seen? Stories about fairy tales, dungeons, demons, dragons, ogres, events that don’t really exist, events that didn’t really happen, inventions that will or won’t come true, are just some of the products of an imagination.
They say that people can’t turn the inconspicuous into something tangible without first imagining it. This is real and very accurate to me. You cannot have something or be anyone without first imagining having it or being it.
The potential of imagination takes your rage to another level that you won’t stop until you get there. Until you achieve your dream. Walt Disney’s wife said at a commissioning of one of the Disney structures that before anyone had seen Disneyland, Walt Disney had already seen it in her mind.
Now you can understand that imagination can become real if you ignite it with your passion and determination. The portion of images that become substantial things depends on our persistence to revolutionize what is in our minds to what will be tangible with our hands.
