As in most other industries, the kitchenware industry is constantly introducing new lines and innovations. Some of the new lines are only available in gourmet or specialty stores and are sure to be expensive.
Regalware has a new cast iron cookware with a double-fired ceramic exterior. It’s available in Royale Blue or Brick Red. Unlike older cast iron cookware, this new ceramic exterior will work on any cooking surface, including glass cooktops. I had to give up my old black cast iron pans when I bought my new stove because I didn’t realize how much they could scratch the surface. Ceramic coating keeps its good appearance for years. The interior of the cookware has a non-stick surface for easy cleaning. It also has special handles that give the cookware a secure grip and stay cool to the touch.
Chinese food is still popular and Clad Metalcrafters offers two new stir-fry pans. The skillet features a triple layer stainless steel and aluminum disc that is permanently bonded for fast and even heat distribution. This is especially important when cooking beef, chicken, or pork.
Mirro has introduced a new set made of aluminum and stainless steel, which features durable, easy-grip plastic handles that are easy to handle. The eight-piece set with a nonstick interior sells for less than $ 40 at many retail stores.
Another innovative product is the new line of flexible bakeware from Bradshaw International. It is more expensive than normal bakeware, but more and more people are learning the advantages of silicone bakeware. The cost is slowly coming down as they develop a special line to sell in supermarkets and mega discount stores. The line is called Flexform and will include:
