– Detachable touch panels – Some manufacturers are looking for new angles and uses for their laptop components. For example, Acer’s newest laptop features a detachable touchpad that doubles as a remote control for the unit. A nifty device for delivering meeting presentations.
Meanwhile, there are also a number of innovations in operating systems and software. For example, users with multiple devices can now sync their files over a shared Wi-Fi network instead of having to use a USB drive or send files via email.
