NFL Football Picks Week 6 First Look Analysis

Week 6 of the NFL is fast approaching and it’s time for us to turn the page from week 5 where we had 9-4 ATS for our underwriters, including 3-0 ATS with our TOP BETS, which was the Steelers (-4) about the Seahawks. , Jaguars (-2) over Chiefs, and Dolphins (+5.5) over Texans. We’ll have FIVE BEST BETS this week and look to continue our 10-year record of collecting 60 percent efficiency. Let’s take a look at the week 6 game lines and some initial thoughts. The official and BETS BETS picks come out on Thursday.

TIDBIT: Our favorite angle of the home underdogs was once again a moneymaker as they went 3-1 ATS in Week 5 (49ers, Bills, covered Rams and missed Chiefs).

CARDINALS 4 Panthers: Arizona is 2-0 ATS at home and faces a weak Carolina team reeling from the loss of Jake Delhomme. However, Carolina plays tough D and there is a guarantee that Cards QB Kurt Warner can stay upright throughout the game.

RAVENS 10 Rams: Huge margin for the offensively woeful Ravens (0-5 ATS) against a truly terrible Rams team. St. Louis showed courage by losing close to the Cards last week, but the Ravens play much harder D and could be in for a big game.

BEARS 5 Vikings: The Bears salvaged their season with a big win on the road against the Packers, but they could be disappointed. The Vikings are coming off a bye and have a history of playing close to the Bears.

Bengals 3 CHIEFS: Home underdog alert here as KC is in that spot for the second week in a row, which is a big positive bet. However, the Bengals are coming out and it would be hard to see them lose 4 in a row.

BROWNS 4.5 Dolphins: Miami is the worst team in the NFL, but they could spark with new QB Cleo Lemon. The Browns are tough as a home underdog (2-0 ATS), but giving up points isn’t their strong point.

PACKERS 3 Redskins – The Packers look to avoid back-to-back losses at home, but they face a tough Redskins team that is playing great defense.

JAGUARS 6.5 Texans: The Jaguars challenged offensively giving almost a TD to the Texans squad decent enough that they could get RB Ahman Green and WR Andre Johnson back for this one. However, the Jags play great defense and are the type of stopping unit that could cause the young Texan to attack.

Patriots 4.5 COWBOYS: What a game here, as the Cowboys are underdogs at home against the Patriots. The Cowboys faltered against the Bills, but still came away with the win. The Patriots have scored 34 or more in every game and have gone 5-0 ATS.

Eagles 3 JETS: Home underdog alert here as the reeling Jets need to make one last stand to save their season. They should be extra focused and ready to go. However, the Eagles are fired when they are 8-0 in a row under Andy Reid.

CHARGERS 10 Raiders: Big division game here, as the Raiders come off a bye fully prepared to take on the Chargers, who had a confidence-building win against the Broncos.

SEAHAWKS 6.5 Saints: The Saints are 0-4 ATS and absolutely desperate. The Seahawks return home after a bad road loss to the Steelers and should be prepared for a strong showing.

BUCCANEERS 3 Titans: Interesting gameplay here as Buc goes home to take on some amazing Titans. Tampa due to a rebound after a no-show against the Colts and Tennessee is 4-1 ATS.

Giants 3.5 FALCONS: Home underdog alert as the Falcons are in the same position they were in when they beat the Texans two weeks ago. The Giants could be disappointed after an impressive three straight wins against an inferior team. New York is on the up, though, and they should win this one even if they don’t put up a top-tier effort.
